Melbourne Burwood
We have three types of accommodation to choose from (studio apartments, shared apartments and units) and each is conveniently located to all campus facilities.
Warrnambool
Our units are located nearby the Hopkins river, surf beaches and our sporting facilities – making it a great place to bring families school groups or staff.
Geelong Waterfront
Our apartments offer central, quality accommodation at affordable rates. It’s just a short walk from the waterfront, all major transport links and the CBD.
Geelong Waurn Ponds
Our townhouses and units are perfect for visitors to the area, and are close to our conference centres and extensive sporting grounds.
Stay at Deakin over summer
While we take guests all year round, the best time to book is from November to February, as more rooms, apartments and units become available.
This means we can accommodate larger groups who are looking for university-style accommodation for conferences, school or sporting groups.

Deakin is equipped with the latest conference technology and can be booked by guests staying with us.
Recreation areas
Nearby walking and running paths along with access to on-campus gyms, sports courts and ovals.
Fully furnished
All of our accommodation is clean and well maintained, with bedding and linen included and wireless internet access available. Kitchens are fitted with basic cooking packs and have fridges, microwaves and ovens.
Security
Burwood and Geelong sites offer 24/7 reception and all campuses have 24/7 security.
Great places to eat
With a range of onsite caterers you can choose to eat in or pre-organise meals to take with you.
Communal areas
All of our accommodation includes meeting spaces you can utilise, including BBQs, Foxtel and table tennis tables (recreation areas differ between campuses).
What do I need to know?
Although we offer accommodation to external guests that aren't students, our residences are slightly different to hotel accommodation. We don't offer room service or wake up calls, but all bedding and linen is provided (cost is included in room price) and you can receive a full refund up to 72 hours prior to check in.
Smoking is prohibited on all University grounds and inside any University buildings, including rooms. Residences and short-stay guests however, have access to designated smoking areas.
