CASPer is an online, video-scenario based situational judgement test, designed to measure non-academic suitability for teaching. Students applying to all initial teacher education courses are required to take the CASPer assessment.

If you don’t quite meet the requirements to get into your desired course, the Associate Degree of Education is the perfect way to start your journey to becoming a teacher. Upon graduating from the associate degree you'll be offered guaranteed entry into the Bachelor of Education (Primary), provided you successfully complete the CASPer test.
